Volunteer

Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven organization. We welcome all to join us as we build safe, decent, affordable homes in partnership with families in need. As a volunteer, there is always a place for you to bring your unique talents and skills. Experience is not necessary – Our staff will provide all the training needed. We invite you to help us build homes, work in our ReSale Stores, and help in our office. Volunteering is a great way to meet future Habitat Homeowners, who are earning sweat equity, while volunteering as well. If you have some spare time and would like to make a difference in your community,  please consider volunteering with Charlotte County Habitat!

  • Before volunteering with our affiliate, you must first attend a volunteer orientation meeting and complete a Volunteer Application/Release and Waiver of Liability. Participants between the ages of 14-17 must have a parent/guardian sign the Release and Waiver of Liability (Page 2) and attend the meeting as well. For liability reasons, we are unable to accept volunteers under the age of 14 years old in our resale stores and 16 on our construction sites.  Contact our volunteer coordinator for additional information.
