One Build Changing Lives Forever

Habitat for Humanity houses are simple, decent, and affordable to low-income families. Whenever possible, we build energy-efficient, sustainable housing.
One house, one project, one volunteer, one family, ONE ACTION CHANGE is our goal for our homes projects.

Apostles Build 2017 is complete…..churches wishing to sign up for 2018 may request information.

Current Projects

Apostles Build

Just as the 12 Apostles joined together to spread the message of Jesus, 12 churches join together to sponsor and build a home with a low-income Charlotte County family.

Each “Apostle” is responsible for 1/12 of the cost of the home sponsorship ($4,200). Church members also volunteer in the construction of the home.

Apostles Build offers members of your congregation a way to share God’s love. It is a backyard mission project that does not require traveling to participate. It provides a chance to participate in a ministry of service that has a beginning and an end. There are tasks for anyone, and you will see the tangible joy and blessings of making a difference in a family’s life.

For more information on how your church can become an “Apostle” in our next Apostles Build, fill out the short form at the bottom of the page.

2017 Women Build

Calling All Women

Do you enjoy fundraising for a good cause, putting on your tool belt to construct a lasting memory, or participating on project committees with a reachable end result? Charlotte County Habitat is currently gathering local women for our Women Build 2017 project. ‘Women Build’ is a project where local women and businesses partner to construct a new Habitat home.  If you would like to help a local, low-income single mother secure an affordable, safe home, we welcome you.

We’d definitely rather BUILD IT than CLEAN IT!

For more information on how to participate in 2017 Women Build, fill out the short form at the bottom of the page.
